Sources before claims
We prioritise GOV.UK definitions, council public weighbridge lists and direct operator information. Each facility links its source. Source publication dates are retained separately from the date we accessed them. Unknown details remain unknown.
Tools and examples
Tools calculate from user-entered figures. Their formulas, assumptions and worked examples are visible. An arithmetic result does not certify a vehicle or replace correct measurement. Legal and technical details need current primary-source review.
Authorship
Guides are attributed to Rob. His public LinkedIn establishes an identity reference; it is not a professional qualification. We do not invent credentials, reviews or experience.
Review cycle
Source links are checked weekly when the cloud checking workflow is activated. A manual quarterly review is required, with immediate attention to reported closure or access changes. The current activation status is recorded in the maintenance runbook. Dates on articles change only after meaningful review.
Corrections
Send a correction with the affected URL, what changed and a primary-source link. We review it against the source before updating. We do not publish an unsupported access claim.
